This 66,000 square foot building serves as the headquarters for Imaging Business Machines (IBML), an industry leader in document processing. This facility houses more than 125 employees ranging from administrators and executives to customer service technicians, engineers and assembly personnel. The project was executed in three phases. The first phase involved the renovation of an existing 35,000 square foot former car dealership that was originally built in 1977 and included a 2000 square foot overhang enclosure. In the second phase, a 6000 square foot research and development wing was added as well as a 6000 square foot training center. Finally a 1100 square foot lobby and a 9000 square foot, two-story corporate office building were added to complete the front elevation. The additions were constructed from structural steel with an exterior stucco system over metal stud framing.

This two-story building is wood-framed with brick veneer and has an elevator. The project was complicated by the fact that the client's original 1500 square foot office building was on the same site less than 25 feet away and remained a functioning office throughout construction. Upon completion of the new facility, the former office building was demolished.
